A boy bought a bun. The baker gave it to him with a smile. "Thank you," said the boy. The baker smiled more. "Have a good day," she said. On the way home, the boy said thank you to the bus driver. The driver laughed and let an old man sit down first. The old man said thank you to the driver. He got off at the hospital and said thank you to the nurse. The nurse went into the room and spoke gently to a patient. That night, the boy's mother asked, "Why are you smiling?" "I said thank you a lot today," he said. "It felt good." "Then say it again tomorrow," said his mother.
